don't forget to add in the sales of the 4 coin sets which can go into next year depending on mint stock. They sold 2011 4 coin sets throughout 2012.

Based on Jan 7 Mint sales report total 2012 AGE proofs sold so far (including those in the 4 coin set) are:

$5 - 17207
$10 - 10496
$25 - 9489
$50 - 18776

While some of the individual coins are sold out, their total mintage remains open until 4 coin sets are sold out. These will most likely end up as lowest mintage AGE proofs to date, but unless they have lower mintages than some of the uncirc W's (which they don't) I don't see them demanding anywhere near the premium of their lower mintage unc. W cousins.

Looks like they struck half the 2011 levels, but that is still not low enough for me.

The Mint is so inconsistent. They go for years making too many and keeping them on sale for multiple years then all of a sudden they do a year where they are really short and sell out quick. It is enough to drive you crazy.

I would be odd for them to strike so few of the 1/2-1/4-1/10 individual coins but still overproduce the 4 coin set.

Odd but not impossible.

Still if I were to bet I'd quess the 4 coin set is also low production.

I would agree with that. It may be on sale for a while still but I bet it comes in quite a bit lower.
