PWE and an Ebay win

I won an inexpensive 75 topps mini PSA 8 for 3.99 on ebay plus $3 shipping. I got it today. It was in a PWE with a note card wrapped around it. One end of the envelope was ripped open but everything was still there, the bent card in what was left of the holder and bits and pieces of the holder. So, it's trash bound. I did send the seller a note that I received it that way and I noted that he was a fairly new seller and might not know better so I'm not asking for a refund or posting a negative. I told him no feedback but to be more careful packaging next time. I just don't feel like being a butt over $7 but did want to note that I've gotten 2 PSA minis in PWE in 2 days. One was fine and was free shipping so I just left no feedback and I'm not going to leave feedback over this one. Just needed to vent my spleen. I'm good now and will just have to uncheck that card from my mini set.

    I can understand the part about not wanting to bust chops with a negative but you should request a refund.

    I wouldn't let it slide. I'd ask for a refund.

    I'm not spending my own money to give a stranger a friendly reminder on how to use common sense when packaging something to put in the mail.

    This is what neutral is for. I tend to check sellers feedback for things like this. When I leave feedback, I note whether it was securely mailed and use "bubble envelope a lot".

    I would send a pic and ask for a refund politely, and prob not leave feedback.

    These threads are always interesting though, you say you aren't going to leave neg feedback and people say you should, you say you are leaving neg feedback and everyone wants to block you.

    I didn't ask for anything and seller gave me full refund so I left positive feedback.

    That is certainly refund or neg material. You're out $6.99. Plus, he charged you $3 s/h for shipping in a PWE.
