What should I pay for these OPC Nolan Ryan and Mike Schmidt PSA 10's ?

This guy has a 1988 OPC Box Bottoms of Mike Schmidt and Nolan Ryan, both in PSA 10. He said they popped today, and he wants to trade me them for some stuff he wants.

Both are 1/1's.

What would be a .....

Low price
High price

for these items. I have no idea because they are 1/1's, and they are obscure hard to find issues. There are only 1 psa 9 of each, with very few graded.
I have no idea why there aren't many graded. Is this a rare issue ?

I would love to own the PSA 10 Schmidt box bottom.

That said, I am also quite confident that I'm the most aggressive payer for such things. I know what it is worth to me -- and I have a good idea of what the marketplace would value it at if I were not to be pursuing it.

I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.

I'm thinking low $50 and high $200. Low pop but not impossible to increase down the road. Especially with tsalems1 bringing home hauls like this one:

  • Thanks guys...

@mikeschmidt.....I don't have the card yet. If or when I do, I'll email you. Still not sure on a price for this stuff.

@jeffcbay............I'm told 1988 OPC is extremely rare. There are only five of the Ryan and two of the Schmidt ever graded. The other years I'm told
were mass produced, like the pic shown. However, I'm not expert, just gathering info to make an informed decision. Weren't those all Topps that tsalems got ?
Tom was nice enough to call me. He mentioned the opc Ryan value could be compared with a Rose he sold a while ago.
