Question on slabbed fakes

When slabbed coins are counterfeited, do they typically make dozens (or hundreds) with the same certification number?
This thread shows 3 different coins listed on Ebay in slabs from our host, and the certification numbers are correct (though the coins appear bogus). One certification number leads to a Heritage link that clearly shows a different coin.
If many fakes share the same certification number, would a list of commonly-faked certification numbers be helpful (or already exist)?
