When I was a boy in the 80s, I loved pulling the special cards that ended in -00 or -50. I still can't figure out how Pete Rose only warranted card #180 in 1981.
In addition to learning how Topps chose who got the vaunted card number position, I'd love to know how they decided who got their All-Star Rookie trophies.
