OK, it's only been THREE games and people are ranting and raving about Shaquille O'Neal having better numbers than Kobe. Well, when you have only played THREE games, those stats can go up or down depending on the performance, and with that little amount of games played, it's easy for them to go up and down.
What about last year's playoffs?! Where were the stats at? Kobe lead the lakers in points per game with 29.6, assists per game with 6+, FT%, and many other key stats. Where were the haters then? He single-handedly took the hearts out of the Spurs and put them on a platter, with his domination.
Now, Kobe might have shot badly during this series, but did he make the clutch shots down the stretch when it truly mattered? yes he did. Does he always make clutch shots when it REALLY counts? Yes he does. Does he make the clutch pass at the end of the game to a wide open Horry to get the assist? Yes he does.
Give the guy credit! Kobe Bryant is the best overall player in the NBA today...no question about it!

It was the EXACT same situation last season in the first 3 games, but who ended up with the higher stats after the playoffs? Yup, you guessed it...Kobe Bryant.
