Time to take away thenavarro's belt and shoelaces

21-0 as the second quarter starts. Sorry, Mike.

Call it sour grapes, but I'm confident Oregon would've been a better matchup.

Too Bad, I seriously thought it would be a close game and I thought ND had a good shot at winning.

Wow, being an avid SEC fan I thought Bama would win but really didn't expect this.....35-0 and a lot of game left. This may get REALLY embarassing for ND. Honestly, I don't think Oregon would have beaten Bama.

The rest of college FB needs to wake up and follow the SEC's model. 7 championships in a row.

Oregon would have been tough due to the pace of their game...2 of the last 3 Alabama loses have come to Heisman Trophy winners...newton and Manziel.

As an ND fan this was disappointing to say the least. I did not expect ND to win but I never expected the Alabama O line to control ND's front 7 like they did. They exceeded expectations and gave us a great season regardless of the outcome tonight.

    Appreciate today-

If Ohio State were bowl-eligible Alabama wouldn't even be in this conversation. image

All the Oregon and Ohio State and last year's Oklahoma State fans can say what they want about Bama getting lucky to even be in the BCS game. It's true that some teams lost at the wrong time of the season. However, what is also true is that, once in the Game, Bama left no doubt, either year, as to who the best college team in the country is.

Over on the sports forum, the first month of the season, I was saying Oregon v. Alabama would be a great title game. I still think so. Not saying Oregon would have won but based on how Oregon toyed with K-state in the Fiesta bowl I think a good case could be made that it would have been a very competitive game. Oregon's only loss was against final poll #7 Stanford. However, the cards didn't fall right so they weren't able to play in the BCS game. I have no problem with the Alabama v. ND in the BCS as they earned their spots. I am just saying Oregon would have made a better game. A playoff would have been fun this year!

Having said all that, hats off to ND for having a great season and making themselves relevant again. There were MANY times in recent years I would scoot past NBC on Saturday afternoon and wonder why on earth ND had their own TV deal... I wondered why anybody cared about an irrelevant team. However, they are relevant again. NBC must be pleased! image

Have hookers (errrrrr... I mean "hostesses") to greet all the high school recruits, don't worry about recruiting rules of any kind, completely forget about academics and basically focus all of life onto college football. However, it works so good for them! I am just jealous.
