Brent Furrburger just said..."if this was a prize fight, they'd call it off." My $ is on Bama. ND having a heck of a season, but they've fot a scared 19 year old at QB, and it's showing.
To forgive is to free a prisoner, and to discover that prisoner was you.
'Bama had 15 men on the field those first few minutes.

Congrats Alabama! Well played. I thought it odd, ND jerseys NEVER have players name on back, but in last nights game they did. NEVER ever make a change when something's working, until it's not.
So, having had to put in some extra catch-up work last night, I went upstairs to see how the game was going and something else was on TV. When I asked about the game, my girlfriend's daughter said, "it's not a game".

And all the REFS in their corner as well. The tide of the game was turned on 3-4 major calls in a row in the first quarter.... all in 'Bama's favor.
They had to bring in the national director of collegiate refs or something to let the TV announcers know that everything was "good." I got a chuckle out of that. I told my wife right after that 4th call that it was over for ND no matter what they did.
Alabama's own man caused that early fair catch/punt return fumble. And if anything he pushed the ND player directly from behind right towards him. ND was called for a fumble well after the TV replays showed the player's knee clearly down before he coughed up the ball. Bama got the ball back. On a long reception, the TV reply showed the ND tight end getting both feet down before being pushed out of bounds. Those 3 plays changed the "tide" and momentum of the game
Clearly Alabama was bigger and better and would have won easily. But, they didn't need that early advantage to make the game worthless. I'm not an ND fan either.
I only watched one ND game this year.....last night's game. So that's all I can comment on. Didn't seem that "Bama needed the extra help. ND did.
Wanted to watch a football game last night (first one of the season....lol) and what I got were the Refs and Alabama. I lived with it by flipping back and forth between half a dozen stations during the 2nd half...lol.

Watching the game now. ND should go somewhere but I don't suggest Alabama
This looks like a preview of what my Pats are going to do to Houston next weekend
