1964 topps baseball vending box on ebay series one mantle series ?

i find this box interesting i was wondering if anyone knows if this box did come in a series one up to cards 110 i believe..i have had a few 1959 topps football vending boxes in the past and it had all cards in there... im just not sure about the baseball....seller shows a few of the mantles but really doesnt show any other cards...again my question is does anyone know if the vending back in that year came in series or not? thanks...i know the wax packs did but not sure about vending..image

This one loks like a total scam. How about this line? " There is around 280 cards left in the box. 280 cards was simply an estimate as I will not pull these cards out and handle them just to count them. So lets just say there is more than 200 cards for auctions sake." This guy is selling a 1964 partial vending box but he's not going to look at the cards?

I like the last line too: "No returns on this item as I cannot identify card numbers and quantities."

The Mantles are probably worth $80-100 bucks apiece. The three that aren't completely shown are OC but still. The Banks,LL and CL look pretty good Their are at least 200 or so commons. The description of the cards is hysterical. "Obviously the cards he sent out to have graded came back with high grades since this box was untouched since 1964" He had no interest in purchasing the graded cards because he wanted a small fortune for all those 9's and 10's................SOOOOO this is what is left and what you will receive. The bid is at $315 so what do you all think about $400- $500 or so for the Mantles and all those commons which look pretty nice from what i can tell ?? Where could we go wrongimage

Vending did come in series then. I'm not sure if they were completely homogeneous though. I have a 1971 vending box that is mostly series 5 but has some series 4 and a few series 6 mixed in.
