Two NEWP's - I went shopping

I always wanted the 1914 5 yuan bank of communications note..as well as the 1935 Canada $1. I have been looking to buy these two items for a long time now, always got outbid by a few dollars over nice coins/notes. What do you think? Probably overpaid, but I just wanted them.

The sellers pictures are VERY blurry, maybe the coin will be a pleasant surpise? I hope so, old holder. NGC doesnt have a picture on the site...

I know little of what you posted, but they look fantastic. Well, the note does. Your image on the Canadian is blurry, but it seems really nice. Congrats.
