ebay stores...worth it?

Hello all, I am thinking about signing up for the $15 ebay store.

I currently do about $1500/month in sales on ebay.

Are there advantages or disadvantages to a store? If you have a store, did you notice a increase in sales?

I have had a store on Ebay for about three years and I find it much better than not having one. Ffor the record, I sell mostly athletic clothing and very rarely use auctions, I use buy it now.

I like the fact that I can use the good till cancelled feature and that listings cost only .05. Using the good till cancelled features allow the auctions to roll over every 30 days without me having to do anything.

I did find once opened my store, my sales did increase. I do about $4k-$6k a month and have about 600 items up for grabs. Cheap plug:

I am a gold power seller and pay $50 a month for the store. I also receive a 20% discount on my total fees for the month.


If you have a lot of listings, and it sounds like you do, I would certainly open up a store.
