Chance at a bump?

Does this have a chance at bumping to a 7? The back is clean and centered well. The line on his chin is the scanner, not on the card. I have no idea why it is a 6. Lets hear your opinions!

Looks sharp over than the t/b, i would thinks so.

I think this is a great looking card! The only thing that I can see that may be the reason for the continued 6 is that even though the top 2 corners form a tip, there might be some chipping or paper loss. If that's the case, they may maintain the grade of 6. The slight top to bottom centering is well within 7 guidelines. No matter what, a very nice looking Brooks Robinson RC.

Hard to tell from the scan, but looks like a chip of stock from the top right corner might
have held back the bump. Under a loupe, that corner might look terrible.

That is a nice looking card. Is there a small dent in the the center of the top boarder? That is really the only flaw I can see from the scan that might keep it from getting bumped. My guess is there is some type of surface issue that is hard to see without a loupe.

I'll withhold my conjecture and accentuate the positive: it certainly passes the eye test.

After looking at it with my loupe, the upper right corner does have a little bit of chipping. The other 3 corners are all good. And that is not a dent on the upper middle of the border. It must be the scan.

crack and resub...can't come back any worse and you have a better chance of that 7
