Franklin Half PCGS MS64 FBL Set Sell intact or individually

I have a set of Franklin Halves that are all graded MS64 FBL with 2 exceptions. Guess which 2, 1952-S and 1953-S. They are MS65 No FBL.
I would like to sell these but should I break up the set and sell individually or sell as a set?

Thanks!
Keith

I have had luck selling mine as a set and broken up. The first set I had a ready buyer who had wanted it for about a year whenever I decided to sell. The second set, I broke up and sold. It just depends on whether you have an active buyer wanting a set. Put it on the BST boards with pics and put a price on it complete. Is it in the Registry? If so, put what place it is in the Registry.

  • Prof,
It is not in the registry. Will it enhance the value if I submit it?
    Thanks!

List it on the BST at what you want for the set and see if it sells or what kind of offers you get. If the offers aren't satisfactory, piece-meal it. If you piece-meal it you'll likely have stragglers that hang around for a while unless you fire-sale them after a certain date.
