Official National League Spalding Ball Pre 1933

I have a Spalding Baseball that looks like the NL Spalding Ball from 1927. The sweet spot has "Official National League, Reg U.S. Par Off,Cushioned Cork Center", above the sweet spot has "9 IN. 5 OZ, pAT D No., Horse Hide Cover, Spalding, No.1" but the President signature looks like "L G Wylie". The national league president was John Heydler in that era. Can't find any info online on the ball and having issues uploading a photo of the ball. Hoping someone has information or can point me in the right direction.

You might want to post a picture on the Memorabilia Forum at net54baseball.com as there is a guy there who is somewhat of an expert on balls, so to speak. But seriously, he know his stuff.

I dont think he is somewhat of an expert...I think he IS the expert. His collection is unmatched and he has incredible knowledge of all makes and models of baseballs.
I am on a budget and I am not afraid to use it!!

Brandon has some of the nicest balls in the hobby! If I see him at a show; occassionally, he'll let me hold one or two of his balls. I remember in 2002, I wasn't holding one of his balls correctly, I mistook the location of the sweet spot. Brandon was kind enough to show me how to hold his balls in the proper manner! image
