e-bay shipping question
Looking for a little advice on an e-bay situation. I've been using e-bay for the last few months to unload some of my PSA/DNA extra autographed items, sale prices have been between $20 - $350. Right before Christmas I sent out a batch of items that sold. I've been sending the items first class USPS and well packaged. One of the buyers is telling me that his item never arrived, it was shipped on 24 December. I haven't used delivery confirmation on any of the previous purchases. He has sent me a message on e-bay on Wednesday and today saying the card hasn't arrived yet. What is the proper amount of wait time before I would need to refund his money? The item was a $40 card. This Monday will be 2 weeks. Thanks, Tim

<< <i>If you don't use delivery confirmation, some buyers will take advantage of you and "claim" they never received the package... and eBay/PayPal will always side with the buyer in these situations. It's win-win for the buyer! >>
Unfortunately, this is quite true..

Yup, use eBay or PayPal and not only is D/C free, but the actual charge for postage is also less!

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

Or you can go directly to USPS.com and set up an account that gives discounted postage (priority and express) and allows you to use a different credit card or Paypal too. Along with the discount is free delivery confirmation. So you have a bunch of choices but delivery confirmation is a must.
