if your lights are movable and you have a remote for your camera, break those lights free and hold one in each hand and wave em around like an air traffic controller waving those flags
you'll need to hold the remote in one of your hands as well. for toners, it is a wonderful method to get nice and quick results. just look through the big screen on the back of the camera until you get the right height and angles.
i'm sure you probably didn't try too hard on the images and can get better results if you wanted to but thought i'd mention it anyway.

<< <i>Here is the '53 in dcam that I found in a raw set. Tough year for dcams. The small town dealer said he got the set at an estate sale.

As far as your original question about crossover goes, it's hard to grade a proof via an image, as it tends to be the hairlines that are the grade limiting factor, so let's say your coin is indeed a 65 (although to me, FROM THE IMAGE, it looks better). I'm assuming that all modern proofs are well struck, so the 6 full steps shouldn't really matter either. Assuming all that, I don't really see the point in crossing over the coin, as the coin readily speaks for itself in the old slab, and given the relative value of the coin vs. the slabbing fees, it just doesn't make sense to me dollar wise. Of course, if you want to have it in PCGS plastic for a Registry set that is another issue entirely.
Here's a raw one I like the look of, but IMO it's not worth the slabbing fee, so I'm not slabbing it...
