I have no Idea what some of these items are. I just like the attention to detail that was used in the old days even for simple everyday items. I welcome any comments thanks Dumbo
I don't seem to be able to increase the photo size I will read the manual, maybe I should just post items one at a time anyway that way you folks can see more detail too
For each image there are "media links". The pcgs forums use the "img" link. Should just be able to copy and paste that link in here and it should work.
Hey digbuddies, I just learned that the new photo bucket will not allow resizing photos so I have to resize on my own software before posting. Sorry for the seemingly wasted thread.
Yes, I sure believe so. The rest of the gun had melted away into a rust shadow in the hole. I sure was excited to find the hammer and was hoping for the rest. I found this in Lane Kansas about 1.5 miles south of the Marias Des Cygne massacre site. This part of the world is pretty hard on buried steel.

Yep. That bottom-most item is kind of interesting.

Could this be the hammer thingy from a flintlock?
Just a wild guess.

From a gun, maybe, but not from a flintlock, I don't believe. Doesn't look anything like the flintlock hammers I have dug.
I think I figured out the picture problem. You were using the URLs for the thumbnails, rather than the images themselves.
Here they are, with the "th_" removed from after the last slash in each URL (right before the image name).
