another cross/crack thread
Given the new 1% guarantee premium, our host is laying off some of the risk onto the collector. Putting this business decision aside, we now have to think harder about cracking for a cross. Will this change people's ways? Would you be more comfortable cracking if your NGC coin if it had a green bean? This is for kool-aid drinkers only. Please spare us the "holder doesn't matter" speech or "buy PCGS in the first place" speech. Tx.

Edited to correct spelling.
<< <i>If CAC refuses to bean a NGC coin, forget about a cross at grade, don't waist your money. >>
Right, but would you be more comfortable cracking to save the vig if it had a bean...

<< <i>I definitely would not crack a green bean coin to cross unless I believed it had a shot to upgrade. I play the crack / cross game (crack and submit to PCGS or NGC) to win, not tie. >>
What is the tie?
