Shipping abroard question.

What would be the cheapest way for me to ship a coin to the UK and have delivery confirmation. This is for a potential ebay sale, I dont like shipping internationally but they are willing the pay my asking price on the coin+shipping.

Registered mail is not sufficient for PayPal's delivery confirmation requirement as no the proof of delivery is viewable online at the USPS website. In addition, the maximum payout in the event of a loss is about $47 regardless of the declared value of the shipment.
  • For registered mail, you can track delivery via USPS website if the package is shipped to Switzerland. For other european countries, you have to go to the country's post office website to check for delivery. For example, if you ship a package to France, USPS will tell you the date the package left the states and France post office: la poste will show the date the package is arrived and is delivered via its web site.
