A card has been on ebay with the buy it now option for 6 months.
Does this cost the seller?

The most likely scenario: The seller is using free monthly listings, so no, it is not costing the seller money.

Just the fact that the card has been sitting there for 6 months usually means the seller is asking way too much for the card. I have had success emailing the seller and working out a fair deal.

The answer is it depends . . .
If he is rolling free auction listings then it does not.
If he has a store, depending on the level, he is either paying .20c , .05c , or .03c per month per listing.

BUBBASWAYZEE.COM HERE IT PROBLY DIDN'T EBAY A HAD ABOUT A 4 MONTH PERIOD WHERE YOU COULD LIST FOR FREE AND ONLY PAY IF THE ITEM SOLD.
