1887 Brit double-florin MS pricing help, please?

My @$%* Krause volume omitted the entire denomination since the last big overhaul. Skips straight from florins to halfcrowns. Unless I'm nuts and they've tucked it somewhere weird.

    Ah sorry, :/

Cant look at completed listings on ebay in the same grade? I find it more realistic then price guides.

Done that, but didn't find a comparable coin. Or I looked at active listings, anyway. Found some that were close, in the active listings, but not an exact match for this slabbed one. It was encouraging to see that the active ones listed were all higher in price (BINs) and quite a bit less in quality that the one I have my eye on. And raw, whereas I am looking at an NGC coin.

Thank you, ormandh- I couldn't get it to work. Common variety in MS60 goes $125, huh? What about NGC MS64?

I made an ANACS 64, once- bought it raw at a show. Had some nice teal and sea green toning. A real looker. I sold it (with less than optimal photos) for $200-225-ish, I think. About five years ago.

PS- I see the "Roman 1" variety is a little better than the "Arabic 1". I am looking at a Roman 1.

OK, I'll put my cards on the table, since I don't think I am gonna move on this one. Not because it isn't a beauty, but rather because I have other stuff to buy. I was buying some stuff from the same store, so I was tempted on the double-florin. I thought it was a nice coin at the price.

Have at it, if anybody likes it.
