1990 is when the Australian gold kangaroo design started. From 1990 - 1994, the kangaroo type was identified on the coin. From 1995, kangaroo type was no longer put on the coin. Each coin is 1 troy ounce, .9999 pure gold:
1990 - Australia Aus$100, Gold Kangaroo, Red Kangaroo
1991 - Australia Aus$100, Gold Kangaroo, Grey Kangaroo
1992 - Australia Aus$100, Gold Kangaroo, Common Wallaroo
1993 - Australia Aus$100, Gold Kangaroo, Nailtailed Wallaby
1994 - Australia Aus$100, Gold Kangaroo, Whiptail Wallaby
1995 - Australia Aus$100, Gold Kangaroo
