1970 topps booklets-why psa dosent grade?

psa slabbed this booklet but they wont grade them?? thoughts ....1970 Topps Booklets PETE ROSE Signed Vintage Card PSA/DNA Slabbed Auto Reds

Same thing is true for PSA not grading 1971 Topps/OPC hockey booklets, though both BGS & KSA will grade them. Not sure if SGC will or not.

i know, they slab it for a autograph in the right size holder but wont grade them..

I have tried to get PSA to grade a "Men of America" booklet of KM Landis -- a quasi rookie card.

If I understood them correctly, they would not grade it due to the fact that the booklet could not be fully viewed in the holder -- in other words, if you can't see the whole item after it is slabbed then they will not slab it -- contrary to their stance of "box" type items such as Bazooka and Milk Duds.

I then tried to get them simply to slab as "Authentic" but that also did not fly.

scott, thanks for the insight, thats a good point to you make also. i saw one on ebay psa slabbed one with autograph only grade so i was wondering. thanks corey
