    Bad news. 8 of the 10 were flagged as altered. 9 of the 10 were purchased from the same guy at a local card show. I think he is from NC. I have his business card somewhere.

    That doesn't sound familiar. I'm out of town this weekend. I will look for his card when I return. He is the guy that had the 80/81 magic/bird/Erving pack I posted a few months back.

    BTW, "altered stock" is the catch all determination for any pack not holdered by PSA. It does not necessarily mean that
    the pack was altered, as I've had a couple of packs with popped seals receive this same determination, and popped seals
    are not terribly uncommon with vintage packs from this era, as if the seal is not tight, Steve will usually reject it.

    I got an email at 8:45pm that my grades popped. I was utterly shocked by Saturday poppage. Grades....meh.
