Goal for 2013

Finish my Canadian dollar set.
I have all the dates in the classic era (1935-1967), many post-67 nickel and silver dollars and a few Loonies.
This year I want to at least finish to nickel $ series and the Loonies.

There are a couple of sellers on eBay that sell nickel dollar sets. That's how I finished mine but many of the coins are MS62/63 quality and not worth certifying.
The 2013 Charlton Catalogue has a special section on nickel dollar varieties. I think some are bogus varieties but there are a lot that would be challenging to obtain.
Good luck in the hunt.
ps: my goal this year is to finish my Geo VI set: 1951 HR 5c; 1947 dot 25c; 1951 LR 25c; 1952 HR 25c; and a 1947 ML CR 50c.

<< <i>Your goal sounds fairly doable to me. Unless you expect to obtain certified MS65 and up.

My goal for the nickel dollars and loonies is to find nice MS64 or SP65 and above specimens at a good price.
I'm in no hurry and can wait for the right ones to come along.
I've got the new Charlton but I won't be looking for the varieties (yet!).
Most of my Canada dollars are ICCS certified and I often wonder if they would cross over with our hosts.
Good luck or the George VI set!
