I will be missing from the boards - Plane leaves in 29 Hours

I'll be leaving on the 27th for a 2 1/2 week vacation in the Philippines. It's my first vacation in 8 years. I'll be seeing my Nephews for the first time.

I hope things around here can stay somewhat normal.

I hope everyone has a great new year.

    They better like everything. I picked up 10 Toy Story (mostly Buzz Lightyear) and a set of set small gliders and 2 Hot Wheels planes for them. Almost forgot, the kids like M&M's I picked up a big bag.

    When I get back I'll share a few photo's. I'm planning on seeing the McCarther Monument in Leyte, where the wife is from.

    If anyone is planning a PSA/DNA Group Sub, I have 21 items for a red flip and 2 for a blue flip sub when I get back.

    Every Philipino person I know takes amazingly long holidays when going to the Philippines, like 6-12 weeks. I guess it has to do with the cost of the flight to make it worth while (so taking a ton of unpaid leave to do it). It's always THE event of the year so I hope you enjoy yourself Yankees001! ...I'll be sitting here on my 2 weeks off thinking about warmer climates!

    It only cost $1,600 each person normally round trip. Due to the holidays we got them for only $1,800 each.

    The biggest holiday in the Philippines is New Years. This should be interesting. I took the first 2 1/2 weeks off on Vacation from work.

    We plan on stoping by the Douglas McCarther statute in Leyte, where the Marines landed to secure the islands.

    I'll have some photo's when we get back.

    Yes, my wife is from Holungus, Leyte. We plan on stopping their and a few other places.
