Sad to hear. One of my favorite players growing up. I was ecstatic when he signed with baltimore a few years ago. RIP

Very sad news indeed. I loved watching him play. Reminded me of Chris Sabo and Pete Rose with his hustle.

I will say, I just don't understand why you would want to kill yourself when you have a wife and young kids. Seems very selfish to me.

A subject that is hard to understand unless you've been around someone who is suicidal. I think there is a point a suicidal person reaches where he/she can't think about anyone but themselves whether they want to or not. The urge to self-destruct becomes like a black hole sucking in everything until there is no going back and I think any logical thought process is gone.

Been close to two cases. One made it, the other didn't. On the surface both lived outwardly normal lives seemed happy but you never know what is going on in anyone's head...

I read that the guy had suffered from multiple concussions through his life, 9 or 10 by his own count. When the brain takes that many hits, it's not unusual for something in the head to stop working properly.
