U.S. Philippine Error

This is my first post on this forum and if it works out I have others to present. Also hope this will become a continuing learning experience. I recently bought a U.S. Philippine 1921 5 centavo on Teletrade, auction 3399, lot 4260. If you click on the obverse picture and zoom in on the date you can see a clear doubling of all the date numerals, and the "ICA" in America. I have not seen this listed as an error any place, and would like to know if anyone else has seen this before. I tried to copy the picture and add it as an attachment to this post, but it was too small to see the detail needed.

In Ray Czahor's (Cookiejar collectibles) compilation entitled:
"Philippine Islands; Die Varieties, Mint Errors ,Oddities ,Patterns, Proofs-1861-1947"
Rev.11 2003. The Document has 508 line item entries, and probably is not complete as to what is out there.

The 5 Centavo 1921 is identified as a recut date. First identified in 1985 on a Charles Robins list (long ago retired).

It has the appearance from the photo as being a die bounce or shelf doubling , but I cannot see such on any other lettering or devices.
    hence called a recut date.

No extra value attached to it for collectors. Not a Philippine variety collectors seek.

Thank you for the information Mr. Krueger. As you might have guessed, I thought it was something special - otherwise I would not over paid for the coin.
