Doomsday Metal Porn 12/21/12

These 1968, 1969 & 1970 3 oz Foster sets weren't all bought over the last week, but I think I have it complete now, but I'm not sure. Everytime I think I do, I see another bar I don't have. If anyone has a bar that I don't have shown here, I'd like to make you an offer because I want these to be complete sets. I got alot of these from members here, many thanks to those of you who've helped me on this little project.

What have you all been building to complete, or even just purchased over the last week?

Dropped some big bucks on a local deal the night before the big downward slide. Also in the pic: a 10 oz poured engelhard and 5 oz Delta Mint (BC, Canada) bar, purchased last weekend.

At least with 100 oz'ers, they follow what Spot is very closely, so you don't have as much to make up as you might think image

You've got more guts than me Poker making that big of a one time purchase.

I guess they aren't to big on palladium... Lol

I traded some silver and a few C notes for some beautiful old New Orleans gold, including a MS one dollar coin.

I'll share the pictures when it comes back from PCGS.

Also picked up a common date, however MS, CC Morgan for my album.

And last I paid $30 for this 1839 seated. The toning is incredible... sorry for cell phone pic.

I'm not sure that it's very smart to tell the world that you're into precious metals. Any thief or burglar that took high school chemistry will know what those symbols mean. Some here will tell me that I'm being paranoid but why take the chance?

This is a good example where a little humility would've gone a long way, but some folks just have to wear pride on everything they own down to their socks & underwear.
