The pimples on the reverse and fatty "five cents" says Chinese-made counterfeit.

The details overall appear shallow or something......though why someone would counterfeit a very modest priced coin available in roll quantities is beyond me.
Less likely to draw close inspection? Maybe they can make it up in volume image

I also thought counterfeit, and if it was the 1937 3-legged would vote as such.
Then I checked his other auctions and came upon this coin and now honestly believe it is his photography (shot using defused sunlight?)
    and the coin(s) are genuine.

I would say funky photography, but you could never prove it from the pictures.

looks suspect, lack of luster, very shallow relief, (both indicative of a chinese fake) i dont know enough about buffs, but if i was looking for a fake, i would definately take a chance with this one.

I don't know... that "T" in "liberty" looks a tad bit suspicious. I'd move on and search for others. *shrug*

I believe it's photographed through a hard plastic lens that is distorting the image.

    I believe it's a real coin.

My guess is genuine with fuzzy details.

I think it's good - just some hazy toning that mimics the appearance of those dull, lusterless Chinese phonies.
