Is this cat for real?

Came across a seller on Ebay named Grassybranch. Some pretty nice Psa cards and some that will go for decent coin. Problem is he has a feedback of 6. Maybe some of the board detectives can check on if he is legit. Anybody heard of him?

  • Think he has sold quite a few "mystery lots" on the blowout cards site, should be good. image
From what I can tell, 707 is the DOLLAR STORE compared to deans_cards. For what that guy charges, if I ever bought anything from him I would expect it to be delivered to me in a frickin' limo.

  • He really likes the 58 Ernie Banks card in PSA 8. He's got 5 of them listed.
Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded — here and there, now and then — are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all "right-thinking" people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty.

This is known as “bad luck.”
  • The question, "Is this cat for real" should be asked of you.

Who in their right mind would choose a username with Bin-laden in it after what he
    did on 9/11.

Having a username with BinLaden in the USA is as offensive as having a username with Hitler
    on a Jewish chat board.

I think it's in reference to Jeff Dunham's puppet Ahkmed. The dead terrorist.

    Good for you.

Condemnation of a board member that has posted somewhat regularly for the past several years because a screen name was misunderstood? A tad bit sensitive and just getting around to noticing it? If we're going to start being judged by our screen names and/or our avatars, then we've completely fallen in the abyss.

  • Thank you Scott. I just noticed a seller on ebay with Psa cards that members of this board might come across and wanted to inquire if anyone else thought that it could be a red flag. Thats all.

The OP is good people...have dealt with him many times and never a problem.

Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.
  • Red flags:
    1. No feedback for selling cards.
    2. 99-cent start prices.

This doesn't make him a scammer, but it does increase the chances.

Sorry, I've never dealt with Grassybranch, although I'm starting to get an itch thinking about him.

    Didn't the Edmund Fitzgerald sink?

In any event, people ask questions all the time about questionable Ebay sellers, and you attack Mr ABL? Shame on you.
