Submission Question

I have a modern coin that I am planning on submitting to PCGS. The maximum declared value for modern coins (as per PCGS) is $1,000. The declared value on the coin that I am submitting exceeds $1,000. Does this mean that I have to submit this as (and therefore pay the price of) a "regular" coin? Thanks for any help. Jesse.

Yes, if it's above $1,000 and under $3,000.

What Modern coin are you submitting that exceeds $1,000?

Or is this simply your own "personal" estimate on value?
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

    The name is LEE!

All values are a personal estimate.

Are you certain it will grade with a value over $1k? If so, yes, you have to use the regular service. If not, and you are okay with just $1,000 in shipping insurance, select modern.

While all are technically a "personal estimate", submitting a Saint and declaring a $300 value is at its very best unrealistic.
