Recent group breaks from BBCE with '72 baseball wax an 72/73 basketball

Hi, I bought 1 - 72 baseball 5th/6th and 2 72/73 basketball on the group purchase a few months ago. I recently submitted them thinking they all look lik PSA 8/9 quality. Has anyone else received results on their respective packs?

    I bought 2 1972 OPC wax packs from a group rip earlier this year. I kept one raw for awhile and later sold it. Subbed the other one and got a 9. I was pretty happy with that.

    I got a PSA 7 on the 72 5th/6th series pack. From what I saw of the packs in that box, I'd say grades are in the 7-8 range. I have received better grades
    on OPC wax from the 70s FWIW...PSA is pretty tough on 70s wax.


    Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.

    Here is my '72 OPC pack. Looks pretty similar to the one in the other thread that graded a 7. I've been pretty lucky in terms of grades the few times I have submitted things.

    My 73 bb wax came back a psa 7
    My 72/73 basketba came back an 8

    I opened a second 73 topps bb wax and got 9 cards with a bottom right corner ding and a Dwight Evans rookie that graded a 6.
