Static Cling labels for slabs?

I just received my first graded cards from PSA and attached to one was a Static Cling label. On it was the name of a card company, what they offer/buy, an 800 phone number and two lines at the bottom, Date Purchased and Price Paid. I've also received on from Probstein although his didn't have a place for purchase date or price.
I am thinking that it would be nice to have a Static Cling label for each slab with date purchased and price paid. Are they available through one of the card supply companies?
Also, which are better, Vinyl Decal Film or Static Cling? I did some checking online and vinyl decals are preferred for use more than six months but I'm worried the adhesive may leave some residue.
Some of you that own/work for card companies, this may be of interest. It would be an inexpensive way to advertise.
Any thoughts?
Why would PSA allow a card company to attach one of their clings to a newly graded card? I don't have a problem with it, just curious.

Select "Static Cling" in the "Label Type" area, and then go from there.
<< <i>You get them at Uline.

A little pricey, $145 for 500, but thanks.
I buy them at Staples for less than $5 for a pack of 1100 labels.

<< <i>Maybe a spreadsheet (Multiplan ha ha) and some sort of labels. >>
Sheesh, you're my new hero if you're still using Multiplan!

<< <i>I'm with ironmanfan, a spreadsheet is the way to go. You can keep more info like price, grade, how many are graded etc... >>
You could also use the PSA "My Inventory" free program (found under the "Set Registry") you can enter what ever you want, does not
have to be PSA graded cards but if you do the fields are auto filed. You have option for scans, owners comments, Price paid, purchase date,
Pop, Pop Higher, Grade, Cert number and more. Once finished you can export to CSV. Easy to use and free
<< <i>I use these to keep track of what I paid for a card for me that all the info. I need.

i usually ding sellers that have these on their slabs and do not mention it in the item description.

As far as keeoing track of my cards - I created an excel spreadsheet. It in includes the name of the player, brand, card #, year, grade, price paid along with the current SMR price. I update it about once a month. Very helpful.

I really don't use mp but I probably still have a copy somewhere on a 5 1/4 disk.
I never used VisiCalc.
I do keep an inventory at vcp, just thought it would be quicker to have some info on the slab.

Nothing irrates me more than spending a half an hour with seventeen different substances trying to get the residue from one of these stickers stuck on the slab 9 years ago off, that is now part of the plastic!!!

<< <i>i'd rather keep a simple spreadsheet >>
Spreadsheets rule. I look at my collection spreadsheets more than I look at my collection.
I've got records on every card I've bought and sold over the last 15 years, from 50 cent card shop purchases to big Ebay wins.
