eBay Bucks

Anyone else stumbled across the promo starting on Monday and lasting until Christmas? By all accounts, eBay is ratcheting it up a few notches with regards to eBay bucks associated with auction-style listings that end during that time frame, regardless of the winning bid amount. From all I have seen on my end, you'll receive a bare minimum of $10 in eBay Bucks. I have yet to see an ad or receive an e-mail regarding this, so I called a rep an hour ago to verify. Not only was I assured of its legitimacy, but I was told that there's no limit. Sure seems too good to be true, so feel free to confirm or refute. If indeed the light is green, I foresee a number of stocking-stuffer purchases in the near future.

That was my initial thought as well, but then I ran across a number of $.99 listings with a buck or two for shipping, and lo and behold it was still showing $10.

It says that it is including the "bonus offer" to get the $10. The bonus offer is when you sign up for "bill me later" and is a one-time deal.

I don't see any mention of the "bill me later" option on my end, but then again there's a worthless "and more" hyperlink that does absolutely nothing when I click on it. And that's primarily why I placed a call. But as is typically par for the course, that little nugget of information was withheld.

My guess is that there is a misunderstanding of the eBay Bucks offering by the OP. I can see no way that eBay would offer a $10.00 reward on ANY purchase. It would make ZERO sense.

If you click on "see terms" on the eBay auction linked previously.....

Earn an extra $10 in eBay Bucks on your first Bill Me Later purchase.

    Available to invited customers only.
Valid for first Bill Me Later purchase by enrolled eBay Bucks members only. If you have already made a purchase using your Bill Me Later account, you are not eligible to receive the $10 in eBay Bucks.
You'll earn an extra $10 in eBay Bucks through December 31, 2012 when you make your first purchase on eBay using Bill Me Later.
No minimum purchase required. Limit 1 per customer; non-transferable.
See eBay Bucks Supplemental Terms & Conditions below for more details.

The latest and greatest is that it's a glitch in the system. When I click on the Duriel Harris listing from my account, I see this:

You'll earn $10.03 in eBay Bucks.
    Includes Bonus Offer! and more

Nothing whatsoever about a Bill Me Later option, and the "and more" is a nonfunctioning hyperlink. When I view the listing from outside of my account, I see exactly what CW posted. I'm surprised it only took two calls to eBay to iron this out, quite frankly. The best part was the first representative not only substantiating the "bonus offer," but also telling me that I could basically wear it out like a never ending pasta bowl at Olive Garden.
