When to sell around the holidays

I have a batch of cards I want to sell on ebay (via Probstein). Wanted to check with all the sellers on the board about the best time to sell this time of year. If I were to get them in the mail to Rick in the next day or so they would likely be loaded to Ebay with 7 day auctions ending pretty close to Christmas. Would I be better holding off until after Christmas or the New Year to send them in? I am leaning toward waiting, but figured I'd ask here first.
