Success breaking open a BBCE box and selling the packs?

Who has experience breaking open a sealed box from BBCE and selling the packs individually? Was it a success, profit-wise?

I don't think people would have success doing that.

BBCE charges a premium due to their reputation. They shrink wrap the boxes with a BBCE label attached. Once you open a box, it's just your reputation as a seller and people will bid/buy accordingly.

I thought Mike and 70topps guy sold some of BBC wax at the show they did? Also Ive also heard BBC exchange say that dealers all over the globe buy from him. You can sell them pack by pack for sure.
Give the 1984 or 1986 FB wax boxes with his genourous 10% discount if you are nice to him comes out to about 400.00 a box. If you think you can sell them in person at a show and give faith they are 100% unopened I think over time you could sell them for 15.00 to 14.00 per pack making about 3-4.00 per pack, or about 25% profit on the deal. Now if you do that with more product and can move it fast it can add up to a decent take. It can be done. He is not the top top dollar he could be asking for but he prices it right where he can move the most product and turn the best profit for himself. He knows dealers do this which is also a big % of his business. If he charged the 14.00 to 15.00 per pack or 540 per box well his stuff would move slower an he wouldnt make as much money. But there are people looking to make spontanious purchases like a 15.00 pack here and there at a random show BBCexchange is not at.
