<< <i>I know nothing about these packs. What cards should I be looking for? I will check for the front and back cards showing. What do the series boxes go for? I think, but I cannot be sure that a friend has several series 5 to series 10 or 11 boxes at his store. I think he has them priced at about $20.00 each. Are they worth buying at those prices?
    Thanks,
    Bob >>

I would also be interested in buying any of these boxes if available. $20.00 is a great price for any series garbage pail kids box.

<< <i>When you guys get the 1st series packs look to see if the front or back cards are visible. If anyone gets a 1st series pack with Adam Bomb or Nasty Nick showing I will make a good offer for the pack. >>

Just found some time to check out my haul of GPK's. I checked my two 1st series packs and one has Anna banana showing and the other has April showers. These packs will stay sealed. I did open up a few of my 2nd series and 4th series packs and got the usual centering problems, but had fun reliving my childhood. I was surprised that the gum didn't affect the cards at all. The card on back does get a bad wax stain however.

    Cheers

Hi Jeff - is there a trick to seeing who is on top? I'm having a difficulty time making anything out.

    Thanks!

Yeah they're not real easy packs to see through. I just held them up to a light and looked at them at different angles until I could make out parts of the card. I used a set I already have to reference
    from.

Yea, I think a reference set must be required to have a fighting chance. Thanks! -Doug
  • Afternoon and Merry Christams,

As well as the missing cards showing up today, also got my Box from Steve and had to do some busting!!!

Opened the series # 2 lot of 3 packs first and wasn't too impressed, most too OC for grading, but 2 will be making the trip to Newport, Brainy Brian and Rachel Rodent:

And then I tried to see who was on the front of my series #1 pack, but couldn't figure it out, the back card was a checklist, so that told me nothing, could be many cards. So what the hey went and opened it and was Very Very pleased, 3 out of 5 cards centered well enough to go to PSA (The Top Three in the scan), and the Dead Ted is a checklist back !!

  • Morning,

Be warned on the series # 4 Rack Packs, I busted all 6 of mine and there were 2 cards out of 145 worth subbing. Worst centering I've ever seen in Series # 4. And about 30-40 cards had just terrible registration, ie: Blurry, double printed, just terrible.

    You've been warned!image
