I am a novice on coins I just picked up a 1890 carson city morgan dollar

looks to be graded

I paid 82.00 for it

Regardless, if you want any input, you'll have to post some decent pics if you want some real opinions. Without that, there's no way we can give you any advice. In any case, you'll need to answer the following:

Is the coin mint state? If not, what condition is it?

Has it been cleaned or tampered with in any way?

Odds are, if you're a novice, you won't be able to answer either of the above with any confidence. It wouldn't be worth sending in a worn 1890 CC - the date isn't uncommon (maybe for the Tailbar VAM, but that's about the only exception).
