Selling on B/S/T Board

I'm fairly new to these boards and wanted to find out more about posting items on the B/S/T forum. Are there any rules on posting over there, guidance, or forum etiquette you can advise me on? I did not see any rules posted, but could have missed it. I have some PSA cards to sell that I would like to try moving on this forum vs. my usual eBay route. thanks in advance.

Appreciate today-

Bill

  • Follow these three rules and you should be fine:

    1. Make it clear what your asking price is, and which method of payments you will accept.
    2. Don't bump your own thread to the top of the page more than once in a 24 hr period.
    3. If you have multiple cards or lots that you are selling within the same time period, combine all the items in one thread.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
  • Look forward to seeing the cards you have

This is not BST 'rules' related by my general observation of that board:

As a seller, I have tried to consider what I could get on eBay for items and drop the price, since I don't have eBay fees and the general eBay hassles to contend with. However, the audience on the BST board is infinitely less than eBay so most of what I have put up for sale went unsold.

As a buyer, if I am interested in an item on BST, I look at completed eBay sales to see if what I want is a good deal. In most cases, I can get the item on eBay for less.

Those two observations being said, I still enjoy looking at the BSTs evey day.

A photo/scan goes a long way for me as does a price.

When someone posts an item that does not have both of these, I pass.

Why would someone make me work to buy this from them? I hate when someone says, "taking offers." If they know what they want to get for the item, then put that price.
