Paul Puckett

LewLew Posts: 173 ✭✭✭
I was informed today by Mrs. Puckett that Paul Puckett of Spokane, Washington passed away on Nov 29.
No details as to this passing except that he had been in poor health the last several years.
I first met Paul back in 1989. He was the first coin dealer I met that handled and had knowledge of the non-CC GSA dollars in both the hard pack and soft pack.

That is indeed sad news. Over the years I have purchased a few half dimes from Paul, and always found him to be cordial, courteous, and friendly. My condolences to his family. May he rest in peace.

Paul was a very friendly, nice man to deal with. He was very cordial and warm. I only dealt with him once around 1991, when I purchased a raw XF 40 early Walker from him via mail order. This was before HA, Ebay etc.---it was one of my very first. RIP to a kind man.

Very sad to hear. I met Paul back in 1977 when I had just graduated from high school. I think this took place at the June 1977 Portland Coin Club(?) show held at the Sheraton Hotel at the Portland Airport (now PDX.)

He was always pleasant to talk with and was "down-to-earth" in that manner.

Indeed a very kind and knowledgeable man.

Very sorry to hear this. Paul was very friendly indeed. He was a dealer who obviously enjoyed his work--- it really showed.

I always enjoyed seeing him at Seattle area shows. Just a super gentleman.

Well will miss you Paul. RIP.
