1978 OPC Baseball Box Rip Part II

Afternoon,

Shopping done, errands ran, chores finished....................................last 12 packs from the box last night. 3 packs going to PSA. #1 Murray Front/Rose Back, # 2 Winfield Back, #3 Rice Front.

Pack # 22 Nothing going to Psa.................

    Pack # 24...Couple of borderline, but 8's don't cut it!!! Still nothing going to PSA, 3 pack run now...Lets change it up!!!

    Mainly stars, but also sent in a half a dozen Blazer commons this morning, 2 each 25 cards subs already on the way to PSA today, 17 of them 78 OPC from last nights rip.

    Stein going, that's all she wrote folks no second Murray, overall pretty weak box for stars, about the worst of the 10-15 I've busted the last few years. Saving grace is the Murray/Rose pack, if it 8's should get back part of the box cost, 9 would be really nice but I don't think that's going to happen. Overall, 30 cards submitting, really only about 6 of those are 10 canditates, so I'll be lucky if I get two!!! There's no reason why the Fisk shouldn't 10, its a Blazer!!

    This was fun to follow. Did you pick up the box recently from BBCE, or was this one of the boxes from the case break we did a few months back?

    It was from our Box break late last year, sold back to BBCE, then I grabbed it.

    I followed all the way through last night. Highly enjoyable. I missed most of today but did catch the last few packs. Congrats on that Murray/Rose pack. Update us on the grades when you get them back. Good luck.

    Has it already been a year since we did that case break? Seeing this thread makes me want to break my box. It looks like a fun break.
