Here is a link to the PDF with the info!
I started collecting in 1992 and remember how popular(and pricey)many of the 90 Leaf cards were back then. I don't buy too much modern, but may consider this as a fun box break. Anyone else?

<< <i>I wonder if Kevin Maas will be signing. >>
LOL I was always so happy when I pulled that card as a kid.
This will be pretty fun, I'll probably check these out.

<< <i>When did 1990 become retro? >>
More time has passed between 1990 and now then had passed between the year Wonder Years aired(1989) and the year it was depicting(1968). Go ahead and chew on that one.

Remember when 1990 Leaf Series 2 was bringing up to $20 a pack, looking for the Frank Thomas?

<< <i>What does the fact that Leaf isn't licensed mean for these cards? Anything?

No logos on the new cards but the buybacks will be the old cards so they will have logos.
At $10 per card, ouch, that's rather steep.....

What I mean is, how will the hobby/collectors receive it?

This might be a fun set to put together but looks like it has a TON of short prints and might be too challenging. Anyone seen a full checklist yet?

<< <i>Thanks! So....since these ARE the original 1990 Leaf cards (just foil stamp added), would you count that as Frank Thomas' rookie or not?

Interesting question!! Probably not officially, but realistically, I think yes!
The results are:
The Piazza goes for some good money it looks like. The printing plate is a Yellow plate, 1/1 of Byron Buxton.
I'm not excited about how these come. They come in a multi-card plastic storage case. The autos come pre-top holdered. Most of the cards show some wear of age except for the new Piazza card and printing plate. I'd say unless you pull a big auto, these boxes are probably a waste of money. I wouldn't even attempt putting this set together seeing as most of the cards are /20, (with the gold being /5).
Anyone else break these, and if so, get any hits?
