1914 Baltimore News Ruth to be sold after owner loses home

In case some of you haven't seen this story, a 1914 Babe Ruth Baltimore News 'rookie' is being sold next year via REA after the owner--who just bought it a few months ago--was hit hard by Hurricane Sandy.

    Im totally in the dark about this because Im not a homeowner but doesnt homeowners insurance cover his losses?
