OT: Hanging with Adam Wainwright and Andy Pettitte

I live in the same hometown as Adam Wainwright and he is a big supporter of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. For the last 5-6 years, Adam has hosted a fundraiser golf tournament for the local FCA chapters. As a "huddle coach" or sponsor at the high school where I teach, I have been honored to be included in the tournament since its inception. The first year, Albert Pujols was in attendance. I hadn't retuned to collecting and I ate breakfast right next to him . . . if I only knew what a signed baseball was worth then. This year Andy Pettite is the keynote speaker at the banquet (last year was Dave Dravecky). So on Friday, I get to hang out at Sea Island GC, GA with those guys, most of the professional golfers that live in the area, and many other professional athletes. I'll take my camera and post some pics. It's always fun!

    Very cool. Love the Cardinals. I keep picking Wainwright to win the Cy Young Award. Maybe this coming year it will happen.
