For all you Pawn Star fans out there, you all know Jeremy Brown, he is the person they call in when they need advice on Sports memorabilia & is the owner of Ultimate Sports Cards. Today, Jeremy's store completed their move to downtown and they had a grand opening. Ex-Mob lawyer and exmayor of Las Vegas Oscar Goodman cut the ribbon. I got there about 2 hours later, so I could shop around without the crowds. He has some nice vintage items, a PSA 7 Nolan Ryan I may pickup, I want to wait until after the Greg Bussineau auction to see how much I have to work with.
But all the guys working in the store were great, very friendly, they seemed to love to talk cards, including Jeremy. Next door to him is the huge vintage Toy store owned by the ToyGuy, the guy they call in for advice on vintage toys & games. So that was cool also, looking around there even though I'm not really into vintage toys.

Las Vegas but am looking to go in the next few years. Looking forward to checkout a few card shops as
well as Pawn Stars. As a collector I find Vegas more appealing now that I know that there is more to do
there than just gambling.

I love Toy Hunter as well. My son who is six also enjoys watching it with me.
Could ya take a few pics while you're there?
I have to say - I'd really like to have a shop when I sell my practice - yes - it's a pipe dream - and might hate to be tied down - but I'd find it really cool to talk collectibles all day long!
Thanx for sharing.
<< <i>Where Downtown is the shop? In relation to say Fremont Street. >>
It is actually on Freemont, within the "Downtown Experience". The address is 450 Freemont St, inside Neonopolis. It's a little hard to find, there is an opening that goes back to some shops, it is back there. There needs to be some type of sign on Freemont to advertise those back shops. You can park at the Neonopolis Parking Garage, first hour is free.
Yes, I should have taken some pictures, I thought about that after I got home. Sorry!
For anybody coming to Vegas, Pawn Stars is only about 2 miles or less from downtown, so you can easily hit all three places in a short trip.
I went over there about a month ago. I only started watching the show about 3 months ago, and it was cool but I didn't see any of the guys except for the gun expert. He was actually working behind the counter in the gun section. I think what I was most suprising, was that there were about 15 people working there at the time. They were getting ready to shoot some film, so we all had to leave the store for a while. I left, so I don't know what happened or what happened afterwards.

Mike - I think Rick had mentioned somewhere that he has about 50 employees?
Also - many have said - the principals from the show are no where to be found on a day to day basis - I guess they just make too much money from the show to be bothered with regular work anymore? I read where it's the most popular "true cable" show on TV?
