1933 Sport Kings NEAR COMPLETE SET (minus 2 cards)

My near complete set ends tonight (less than 2 hours)....these cards NEVER come up via the 99 auction format!! Trust me, it took me along time to build it, and some of the cards were darn near impossible to get!! I had to get larger lots from the big auctions houses just to get some of the cards. Alot of them are less than what I paid for them, some considerable so, so if you ever thought about building the set, NOW IS THE TIME!!! Thanks for your consideration!

Thanks bobby. I picked up your Max Baer. Looks like a solid 5.

Cool! My one problem with the Max Baer.....it was the only Sport Kings card where the card was "floating" in the case? Could they not just put it in the holder like the other 47 of them!?!?!
  • Morning,

So Bobby how did you do, I have no idea what those sell for or what you had into them, but a lot of those looked like they ended pretty strong?!!

Some did well Neil...some were dead giveaways....The main steals I can think of was the Didrickson that I paid $1,000 for just one month ago sold for $700 this time. The Hoppe in a PSA 6.5 I paid $425 for sold for $200 after about 3 months. The ones that did well were the Hubbell and the Grange. After everything was said and done, I think I lost around $1,000-$1,500. Not too bad I guess.....
