    Good Stuff. I know the feeling. My first was born while I was in Afghanistan. I found out I had a son over the phone. My 2nd is due on Dec 17, although Mom hopes the surprise makes an earlier entrance... I will be there for this one.

    I know what the military life is like... Luckily I never had to miss a birth just quite a few birthdays and anniversaries. 11 years Air Force.

    C-sections I think are actually safer than natural deliveries....better "control" or something like that.

    Congrats!

    We had number four in October (grandchild) after the daughter spending 46 days in the
    hospital on bed rest. C-section on at 35th week and all we spended. Baby boy Jack.
    Her second C-section and both went well, as far as the birth part!
