A group of old original untampered with US Mint Sets in the original cardboard holders, some with the original mailing envelopes. Some sets are flashy, some toned, all beautiful. Please buy with confidence and take the pleasure of an in-hand inspection before the sale is final. Referrals available. These are getting very scarce particularly with the original mailing envelopes. Paypal, Check, or MO are all fine.


1948 Double Mint Set - Jones Set <<$875 obo>> Unusual 48 set with great luster and some wonderful blues, golds. Ask for the Jones Set, as Jones was the original addressee. 28 coin set.

1948 Double Mint Set - Boelio Set <<$700 obo>> not quite as flashy as the Jones Set but this is a clean and lightly golden toned set. Comes with original mailing envelope addressed to Beolie 28 Coin Set

1949 Double Mint Set - Beolia Set << On Hold>>> BLAZING 49 set. Comes lightly toned with blues, light maroons gold and russet. Coins are clean and wonderful. 28 Coin Set. Original Mailing Envelope included.

1952 Double Mint Set - Jones Set <<$775>> Awesome double mint set with original mailing envelope and 30 coins. This set has well developed gold/russet/green toning on the S board and nice flashy P board. Denver is average.

    I've bought mint sets from the OP before....they are as he says they are and have been better looking in person (though, his photography has improved so they may very well look like the photos show them....either way, it is a win-win).

    I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

    Bump. I'm considering offers, so if price was an issue then let me know what you think you would like to pay for a set.

    Posting over on NGC boards now. Then, If no more movement I'll consider listing these on ebay.

    I have quite a few sets like this as well (not for sale) and thus I'm not in need of any of these, but they all are good values for anybody looking to buy them. Whether you're looking to grade the coins or hang on to the sets, the prices certainly aren't going down on them long term.
