What do you think would happen.....

if say a Target store, or Meijer store, or even a gas station set out a box of say 1987 or 1990 Topps cards and priced them at $1 or $1.50 per pack. There would be a "reasonably priced" old pack like that sitting next to packs of modern cards price at $3 to $5 each. Would they fly off the shelf, sell at about the same rate as the modern packs, or just sit there?

Would be a good experiment. Maybe 50 cents would help and they would fly off the shelves until the kids realized there were no auto cards, jersey cards, refractors (Shinys - as my kids call them and they would then just sit there.
I like the idea. I remember about 15 years ago CVS would re bag and bundle mass produced late 90's comics and they sold well.
Successful card BST transactions with cbcnow, brogurt, gstarling, Bravesfan 007, and rajah 424.
